Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of exogenous nitric oxide inhalation therapy in the clinical treatment of neonatal hypoxic respiratory failure. Methods From December 2016 to December 2017, 82 children with hypoxic respiratory failure were convenient selected and enrolled in the hospital. 41 patients who received conventional mechanical oxygen therapy were included in the control group, and 41 patients who received exogenous nitric oxide inhalation were included in the observation group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of children were compared. Results After treatment, the observed oxygen and index, PaCO2 were (5.6±1.7),(31.2±2.5) mmHg lower than the control group (8.0 ± 1.5),(43.6 ± 4.0) mmHg, mean airway pressure, PaO2, heart rate, cardiac index, and left ventricular ejection fraction were (12.8±1.3)cmH2O,(68.5±3.5)mmHg,(78.8±1.5)times/min,(3.6±0.2)L/(min·m^2),(79.8±1.4)% higher than the control group (9.4±1.5)cmH2O,(52.4±1.6)mmHg,(72.6±1.7)times/min,(3.0±0.4)L/(min·m^2),(72.5±1.6)%, there was a significant difference between the groups (t=6.778, 16.832, 10.968, 26.788, 17.511, 8.591, 21.986, P<0.05). Conclusion The use of exogenous inhaled nitric oxide can achieve significant therapeutic effects and is worthy of promotion.
