Xi Jinping’s Thought on Overseas Chinese Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Work in the New Era

党的十九大确立了习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想,这一思想具有划时代意义,其内涵覆盖了中国特色社会主义伟大事业的各个领域,包括我国的侨务工作。我们应以习近平侨务思想为统领,做好新时代侨务工作。习近平侨务思想是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想重要组成部分;习近平新时代侨务工作主线是“根”“魂”“梦”;习近平新时代侨务工作重点是构建人类命运共同体。我们要巩固大统一战线,共同书写好“大侨务”文章。

The 19th National Congress of CPC established Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and the thought has epoch-making significance.Its content covers all fields of the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,including the work of overseas Chinese affairs.We should take Xi Jinping's thought on overseas Chinese affairs as the command and do a good job in overseas Chinese affairs in the new era.This paper argues that Xi Jinping's thought on overseas Chinese affairs is an important part of his thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.What constitute the main line of Xi Jinping's overseas Chinese affairs work in the new era is “root,soul and dream”.The focus of Xi Jinping's overseas Chinese affairs work in the new era is to build a community of shared future of mankind.We should consolidate the Great United Front of the Communist Party of China and work together in writing a masterpiece on the extended overseas Chinese affairs.
