论母语文化传承与大学英语教学的有效融合——以丽水学院为例

The Effective Integration of Chinese Culture Inheritance and College English Teaching: The Case of Lishui University

语言是文化传播的桥梁。由于学习者英语表达水平的限制以及大学英语教学中母语文化缺失等原因,导致学习者在传播母语文化过程中受挫。因此,母语文化传承应与大学英语教学有效融合,加强课堂实践性教学,提高学生用英语表达母语文化的能力,同时调整大学英语课程体系,增设中国文化类课程,培养学生文化素养,树立母语文化自信。

Language is the bridge for culture transmission.Due to the limit of learners’ English proficiency and the native Chinese culture default in college English teaching,learners are frustrated in the process of transmitting Chinese culture.Therefore,Chinese culture inheritance should be effectively integrated with college English teaching,strengthening practical teaching in classroom,promoting students’ ability to translate Chinese culture in English,adjusting the curriculum system of college English,and adding Chinese culture courses,with the purpose of cultivating students’ cultural literacy and building up cultural self-confidence.
