At the instigation of some of Emeritus Professor Edwin Thomas(Ted)Brown’s PhD students,a Colloquium in his honour to celebrate his retirement and a long and distinguished career in rock mechanics was held in Brisbane,Australia on the 4th December 2018,Ted’s 80th birthday.
