俄狄浦斯式人格的湮灭——浅析纳吉布·马哈福兹小说《蜃景》的情节

The Annihilation of an Oedipal Personality: Analysis on the Plots of Naguib Mahfouz’s Novel al-Sarāb

《蜃景》是埃及作家纳吉布·马哈福兹于1948 年发表的一部长篇小说。该小说具有突出的心理分析特征,在作家整体创作历程中别具一格,被一些学者归入单独的一个“断层心理小说阶段”。在小说中,作家初步尝试对人物内心世界的探索,为以后的创作锤炼了写作技巧。小说主人公凯米勒俄狄浦斯式人格的形成与发展,是情节推进的主轴。本文以弗洛伊德精神分析理论为指导,试图探讨作家如何运用精神分析学知识来安排故事情节并展开主人公的性心理和无意识世界的描写。

al-Sarāb, published in 1948, is a novel written by Egyptian author Naguib Mahfouz. It possesses a strong characteristic of psychological analysis, which makes itself unique on Mahfouz’s own process of creation, for that it was classified by some scholars into a separate stage called “stage of truncate psychological novel”. In this novel, the author undertook his first attempt to discover inner world of the characters, which has helped improve his writing skills for future creation. Considering that the formation and development of the protagonist Kāmil’s oedipal personality is the premise on which the plots move, this paper tries to discuss how the author uses psychoanalysis knowledge to arrange plots, and to describe the protagonist’s sexual psychology and his unconscious world.
