党的十九大报告把党的政治建设纳入党的建设总体布局并摆在首要位置,有着深刻的理论渊源、深厚的历史传承和坚实的实践基础。旗帜鲜明地讲政治是马克思主义政党的根本性要求,也是解决党内存在突出问题的根本保证。以党的政治建设统领新时代党的建设,就必须要求全党增强“四个意识”,严守党的纪律,加强党性锻炼,永葆政治本色,不断提升政治觉悟和政治能力。
