Safflower yellow pigment,derived from the Chinese medicine safflower,has a good effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.A large number of studies have shown that it has a significant effect on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.This paper summarized the research progress of safflower yellow pigment in the treatment of cardiovascular disease in recent years,and provided reference for the clinical treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease and functional food research by safflower yellow pigment.
