Archives Memory of the Top High Building in Northwest Area During the Period of the Republic of China

国立西北农林专科学校大楼(今西北农林科技大学北校区3号教学楼)在民国时期享有“西北第一高楼”的美誉。它的奠基标志着西北现代高等农业教育和科技事业从此开篇。大楼是由名家设计,经过规范、严格的建筑招标程序,采用质量优先、严格监理、规范施工、精选建材、注重细节、量化过程控制的建设理念而建造的世纪精品工程,曾入选《中国优秀建筑设计》,为陕西省爱国主义教育基地和省级文物保护单位,成为西北农林科技大学历史的见证。

The National Northwest Junior College of Agriculture and Forestry building(the No.3 teaching building in north campus of Northwest A&F University today)was known as the top high building in the northwest during the period of the Republic of China.The cornerstone laying ceremony of the building marked the beginning of modern higher agricultural education and science and technology cause in the northwest.Designed by a famous architect,the building went through strict and standard bidding procedures,and became a century quality engineering with the ideas of quality first,strict supervision,standardized construction,careful selection of building materials,fine detail and quantitative process control.The building was once listed in the book of Outstanding Architectural Design in China.It was a patriotism education base and provincial conservation unit of cultural relics in Shaanxi,and the witness of the history of Northwest A&F University.
