蛟字在古文献中屡见不鲜,《说文解字·卷十三》记载:“蛟,龙属无角曰蛟,从虫交声,池鱼满三千六百,蛟来为之长。能率鱼而飞,置笱水中即蛟去。”可以推测出蛟生长在水中,怕捕鱼器具。蛟具体是何物?这是一个值得研究的问题。根据调查我们发现蛟龙实际上就是蛟,它是属鳄鱼类的水中生物。

The word of Jiao is not uncommon in ancient literature.As recorded in the thirteenth volume of"Shuo Wen Jie Zi”,Jiao is a kind of dragon without horns.When there are a total of three thousand six hundred fish in the pool,Jiao is the king in the water that leads the fish to fly.If a cage is put in the water,Jiao will go away.From above it can be speculated that Jiao grows in water and is afraid of fishing gear.What is it specifically?This is a question worth studying.According to the survey,we find that Jiao is actually a dragon,which is an aquatic creature of crocodile category.
