Pump-down multistage perforation is a kind of the reservoir reconstruction technology widely used in shale gas horizontal wells in China. The engineering accidents such as perforating strings and wires falling into a well are often encountered during perforation and how to fish them effectively and safely becomes an problem to be solved urgently. The causes, components and fishing difficulties of the fishes, and the application characteristics of commonly used fishing and accompanying tools are analyzed in the paper detailedly. Thus a fishing technology according to different fishes and casing structures is summed up, which is verified efficiently and safely by a fishing example.
