Faced with the current development trend of economic globalization,internationalized operation is the general trend of the development of the industry,as is the development of mining industry.In the process of internationalization,mining industry English translation is particularly important.This paper aims to study the characteristics of mining industry English,and then analyzes the translation strategies and methods,and improve the English translation of mining industry from the root.Put forward tactical methods such as vocabulary and syntactic structure;peer-to-peer translation;teaching methods.It is learned that for the English translation of mining,we must first improve the professional quality of the individual,grasp the meaning of the translated words;and combine the excellent teaching methods to improve the translator’s translation ability.
