Taking the design of AC reciprocating saws of hand-held electric tools as an example,this paper introduces the methods and effects throughout the whole development process and links of electric tools including market investigation, parameters determination, scheme design, appearance design, structure design, mould manufacturing and small batch trial production evaluation.
