In order to meet the needs of maritime satellite data communication service, a RF phase shifter unit circuit is simulated and designed by ADS software. The unit consists of a 3dB bridge, two varactor diodes SMV1245-079LF and a numerical control unit. The insertion loss in the phase shifter band is less than 2.5dB, the phase shifting range is greater than 135 degrees, and the standing wave ratio is less than 1.5.
