钱南扬教授是享誉海内外的中国古代戏曲史研究大家,在南戏研究领域独树一帜,影响广远。然而,学界对他的研究与其在学术史上的地位却极不相称。鉴于此,笔者曾花费几年的工夫,在搜集大量史料的基础上,编就《钱南扬学术年谱》,赢得众多同好的鼓励与赞许。其后继续广搜博览,并得学界朋友大力襄助,又有所获,遂成《补编》,以希对钱先生之学术人生有更加透彻的了解。篇幅所限,这里截取的是1977—1987年之间的内容。

Professor Qian Nanyang is a renowned researcher on the history of ancient Chinese opera at home and abroad. However, his academic study is quite inconsistent with his status in academic history. For this reason, the author spent several years compiling the academic chronology of Qian Nanyang on the basis of collecting a large amount of historical data, which won the encouragement and praise of many academic peers. After that, the anthor continued to read extensively and got great help from my academic friends. We hope that through our efforts, we can have a more thorough understanding of Mr. Qian Nanyang ’s academic and life. This is from 1977 to 1987.
