Characteristics of Li Ke’s Clinical Treatment of Acute and Severe Illness

Li Ke is a prestigious clinical expert in the contemporary Chinese medicine in China,specialized in using acupuncture and medicine to treat critical patients and has gained a great reputation for creating a lot of medical miracles of saving the life of patients. This paper,from three aspects,analyzes the special method used by Li Ke-Lao,a senior expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine,to treat the acute and severe diseases : diseases should be treated from the root and all diseases are closely linked with six meridians and the eight cardinal principles;death or life can be known through three channels and critical conditions can be relieved by acupuncture and Chinese herb;stomach meridian is considered as the basis and the vital essence should be reinforced and the primordial Qi should be strengthened to prevent relapse.
