代谢组学是通过研究机体受外界影响后其内在环境代谢产物的变化来研究生物体系的代谢通路的一种技术,可以对生物机体内或者是细胞中所有低分子量代谢物进行定性、定量分析。代谢产物的变化能够体现细胞或组织对外来刺激或基因改变的应答规律,从而找到疾病及药物作用在体内的变化规律。辨证论治是中医诊治疾病的基本原则,整体化及个体化治疗是其精髓,这与代谢组学的研究本质相通,掌握他们之间的关系有助于更好的建立临床思维。

Metabolomics is a technology studying the metabolic pathways of biological system through changes of body metabolic product with the influence by the outside world and its internal environment changes. It can analysis all the low molecular weight metabolites with qualitative and quantitative of biological organism or cell. The changes of metabolites can reflect the response laws of cells or tissues to external stimuli or gene changes,thus we can find out the rules of diseases and drugs in the body. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is the basic principles for Traditional Chinese Medicine to understand and treat disease. Integrated and individualized treatment is the essence. The essence of the two is the same. We can build a better clinical thinking by grasping the relationship between them.
