摘要
作为兼具概念意义和情绪意义的一类特殊词汇,情绪词的加工机制受到了研究者的广泛关注。本研究利用ERP技术,采用情绪归类和情绪Stroop任务,考察晚期汉英双语者二语情绪词加工的神经机制。研究结果表明:1)情绪Stroop任务比情绪归类任务诱发了更大的P2;2)在中央区和前中央区,中性词汇比情绪词诱发更大的EPN,积极词汇和消极词汇诱发的EPN并无显著差异,在颞枕区亦未发现任何显著效应;3)较之情绪Stroop任务,情绪归类任务诱发更负的EPN,效价和任务类型无显著交互效应。实验结果说明效价影响英语二语词汇的加工,情绪词和中性词汇加工机制存在差异。情绪词加工不受注意力资源调节的影响,中央区和前中央区可能在二语情绪词和中性词汇的加工中起着重要作用。
The processing mechanisms of emotion word, a dual-meaning word containing both conceptual meaning and affective meaning, have been drawing increased global attention from researchers. This study investigated the neural mechanisms of English emotion words using the emotional categorization tasks ( ECT) and emotional Stroop tasks (EST) in 30 late Chinese-English bilinguals. The results showed that: 1 ) EST elicited a larger P2 than ECT. 2) In the central and centro-frontal areas, neutral words evoked an enhanced EPN than emotion words, and positive and negative words evoked similar EPN amplitudes;no significant effects were found in temporo-occipital areas. 3) ECT produced a larger EPN than EST and there was no significant interaction effect between valency and task type. Hence, we concluded that emotion words and neutral words had different processing mechanisms, and the processing of emotion words was not affected by attention manipulation;the brain areas involved in L2 emotion word processing move from temporo-occipital areas to central and centro-frontal areas.
