This paper takes the library of Southwest Jiaotong University as an example, based on the practice of carrying out reading promotion across boundaries, analyzes its present features and existing problems, seeks out effective countermeasures, and explores the new paths and ways of the reading promotion of university libraries, and constantly deepens the connotation of reading promotion.
