Brief Talk on the Text Edit of A Collection of Hubei Maps from Ancient to Modern

围绕《湖北省历代地图成果概览》图集文字编撰工作,从文字编撰方案、解读地图特色、典型图例分析3个方面,说明了古近代地图和现代地图文字编撰的差异及特点,阐述了图与文有机结合、“以图解史、以文释图”之重要作用。

In this paper, according to the text edit work of A Collection of Hubei Maps from Ancient to Modern, we discussed the differences and characteristics of text edit between maps from ancient to modern from the solution of written text, the feature of map interpretation, typical case analysis. Then, we elaborated the importance of interpreting history information from maps and describing maps with text.
