磁州窑的历史可追溯到北齐和隋唐时代,是我国北方著名的民间瓷窑。其生产的瓷器,除少量的贡品瓷,绝大多数是面向普通中、下层大众日常使用的盘、碗、壶、罐、枕、炉、瓦饰等。其中瓷枕的生产量仅次于盘和碗,瓷枕因其喜闻乐见的装饰和生活实用性而备受广大民众欢迎,瓷枕纹饰的题材与寓意为制作者提供了广阔的想象力,人们把现实生活中的富贵、吉祥等美好愿望直观朴实的表达在瓷枕纹饰中,这些纹饰就是磁州窑百姓的美好梦想和情感寄托。通过对磁州窑瓷枕吉祥纹饰的分类研究,论述了这些纹饰的寓意和存在的价值。

The magnetic state kiln is a famous folk kilns in the north of China, The history of firing can be traced back to the Northern Qi Dynasty, Sui and Tang dynasties. The majority is for the ordinary lower and middle class people daily use. Among them porcelain pillow production is second only to plates and bowls .Porcelain pillow were popular with their decoration and practicality, porcelain pillow decorative material and moral provide a broad imagination,such as wealth and good luck in real life. These decorative patterns are the beautiful dream and emotional sustenance of people in cizhou.This paper discussed the meaning and value of these ornamentation.
