A Review of the Studies on "A Better Life" in Domestic Academia since the 18th National Congress of the CPC

党的十八大以来,习近平总书记多次提到人民对美好生活的向往就是党的奋斗目标。国内学界围绕"美好生活"这一论题就其生成逻辑、基本内涵、时代意义、现实困境、构建路径等方面进行了多维度的研究,取得了丰硕成果。为深入推进美好生活研究,需进一步厘清美好生活的基本内涵,系统研究美好生活的理论资源,重视美好生活的历史生成与当代境遇,拓展研究方法与学科视角。

Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that people’s longing for a better life is the goal of CPC."A better life"is transformed from everyday discourse to political discourse.The domestic academic circles have carried out multi-dimensional studies on the notion of"a better life",including its generative logichistorical basis,connotation,significance,realistic dilemma and construction path obstacles and theoretical construction,with enormous achievements.In order to advance the study of a better life,it is necessary to further clarify the theoretical connotation of"a better life",systematically scrutinize its theoretical basis,examine its historical formation and contemporary opportunities,as well as further diversify the research methods and broaden its discipline perspectives.
