Analysis on the Reasons Why Yancheng Became the Center of Military Administration in Central-China Anti-Japanese Base

皖南事变前,盐城一步步成为华中新四军的政治、军事领导中心;皖南事变后,盐城进而成为新四军重建军部所在地。通过梳理相关史料,认为这体现了中共领导人的高瞻远瞩、未雨绸缪的英明决策,也反映了新四军、八路军指战员们不畏强敌、进退有度的执行力和行动力。

Before the Southern Anhui Incident,Yancheng step by step became the political and military center of the New Fourth Army in Central China.After the incident,Yancheng naturally became the base for the New Fourth Army to rebuild its military headquarters.By sorting out the relevant historical data,this paper holds that this historic move reflects the foresight of the Chinese Communist leaders,the wisdom of strategic policies making in advance,and the power of execution and action of the quick-witted and unflinching officers and soldiers in the New fourth Army and the Eighth Route Army.
