摘要
掌握一定的英语词汇量是学生掌握听、说、读、写、译等英语语言应用能力的基础。英语词汇教学是大学英语教学的重要组成部分,英语词汇教学具有重要的作用。不少大学英语教师仍然采用传统的灌输式教学方法,教师是课堂的主导者,学生被动地接受教师传授的知识,学生不是课堂的主体,缺乏学习主动性和积极性,教学效果难以令人满意。"以练代讲"词汇教学法包括认知、运用、学习、巩固等四个教学阶段,学生要经历从认知到内化的过程,符合人的认知规律和教学规律,具有较好的教学效果。要开展"以练代讲"词汇教学法,教师不仅要提高对"以练代讲"词汇教学法的认识,还要努力提高自己的综合教学能力,合理分配词汇讲授时间和词汇练习时间,设计适当的词汇运用场景和词汇练习项目,才能提高词汇教学效果。
Vocabulary is the foundation of four basic English language skills. Vocabulary teaching is an indispensible part of college English teaching. However, most college English teachers still adopt the traditional teaching approach. Most students have learnt a lot of vocabulary, but never use them and are unwilling to take part in class activities. The method of teaching through practicing can avoid these shortcomings, arouse students’ learning interests and cultivate their language application ability.
