Brief Introduction of Library Book Return Reminder during the Republic Period of China

无论是古代的藏书楼还是现代的图书馆,图书催还一直都是图书管理人员经常做的一项重要工作。民国时期,图书馆事业在蓬勃发展的同时,同样面临着读者借书不还的困扰,图书馆依然需要不断的重复图书催还工作。文章通过对原始文献的梳理,总结民国时期图书馆图书催还在工作时机和工作方式上呈现的鲜明时代特征、以及对借书逾期不还的处罚措施,分析图书逾期不还的原因,进而得出启示,即落实和执行规章制度要严格、制定图书借阅规则要科学、合理。

Whether in the ancient library or modern library,book recharging has always been an important work for librarians.During the Republic Period of China,the library industry was developing vigorously.However,it also faced the interference of borrowed books overdue and the library still needed to repeat the work of reminding books return.Through combing the original literature,this paper summarizes the distinctive features of the time and work mode of library reminding books return as well as the punishment measures for the overdue loan in the Republic Period of China.Then,the paper analyzes the reasons why the books were overdue.It draws the inspiration that the implementation of rules and regulations should be strict and books borrowing rules should be scientific and reasonable.
