This paper introduces the situation commonly existed in the regional power grid that the substation with bypass buses uses the bypass bus as independent bus to transfer loads, analyzes the key points of operation and precautions when the regional power grid dispatching arranges normal equipment maintenance and operation mode, and deals with the faults of the substation with bypass buses, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
