Effective traffic management of arge freight vehicles has always been the focus of traffic management departments,which plays an important role in reducing traffic accidents and improving road traffic efficiency.In Baoshan District of Shanghai,the measures of prohibiting & restricting the traffic of la rge trucks and diverting passengers & goods are adopted,and the measures are guaranteed by improving road facilities,increasing intelligent monitoring of illegal acts,strengthening the information release of prohibition,restriction & detour.In 2018,road traffic fatalities involving large cargo vehicles in Baoshan District decreased by 22.92%compared with the same period last year.The experience of traffic control of large trucks in Baoshan District can provide reference for traffic management of freight vehicles.
