Identity Construction in Palestinian Historical Recollections

建构主义认为群体认同是一个动态的社会建构过程。没有过去就没有身份认同可言。无论是群体还是个体,其认同归属都在很大程度上取决于对历史过去的建构或重构。研究一个群体对历史过去的建构过程可以有效地探究其群体认同的发展。文章考察了巴勒斯坦对其群体过去的建构,探讨了巴勒斯坦认同及其与历史记忆建构之间的互动关系。

Constructivism holds that group identity is a dynamic process of social construction. Without past, there’s no identity. Both groups or individuals, their identities and sense of belonging depend to a large extent on the construction or reconstruction of the past. Studying the process of a group’s construction of the past can effectively explore the development of its group identity. This paper examines the past construction of the Palestinian community,and explores the interaction between Palestinian identity and the construction of historical memory.
