Establishment of the System of Just Law Enforcement in Prisons in the New Era

监狱公正执法是司法公正的重要组成部分,不仅是全面推进依法治国和建设社会主义和谐社会的根本要求,而且是监狱机关推进监狱工作法治化进程和实现依法治监的核心和灵魂。虽然我国监狱执法规范化已经取得一定的成绩,但影响和制约监狱公正执法的因素依然存在。面对新时期的严峻挑战以及监狱工作改革发展的艰巨任务,必须建立公正执法体系,推进法治现代化建设。

Just law enforcement in prisons is an important part of judicial justice. It is not only the fundamental requirement of comprehensively promoting rule of law and building a harmonious socialist society, but also the core and soul of prison organs promoting the legalization of prison work and administering the prison according to law. Although standardization of law enforcement in prisons in China has made some achievements, the factors affecting and restricting the fair law enforcement in prisons still exist. Facing the severe challenges of the new era and the arduous task of reform and development of prison work, we must establish a fair law enforcement system to promote the modernization of rule of law.
