Thinking the Reform and Development of Chinese Higher Education in the New Era

中国高等教育进入了中国特色社会主义新时代。新时代中国高等教育的主要矛盾已经转化为人民群众日益增长的高质量高等教育需要与其发展不平衡不充分之间的矛盾。因此,提高质量、促进内涵发展成为新时代高等教育改革发展最核心、最紧迫的任务。基于此,需从加强国家层面的宏观统筹、增强大学发展内生活力、引导社会第三方参与质量评估等方面破解高等教育发展难题,促进高等教育平衡发展、充分发展。

Chinese higher education has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the new era, the main contradiction of higher education in China has been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing need for high-quality higher education and the inadequate development of higher education. Therefore, improving quality and promoting connotation development have become the core and most urgent task of higher education reform and development in the new era. The paper suggests that the problems of higher education development should be solved from the aspects of strengthening the macro-coordination at the national level, enhancing the endogenous vitality of University development, and guiding the third party to participate in quality assessment, so as to promote the balanced development and full development of higher education.
