“《文选》学”兴起后,《文选》逐渐成为师授的重要教材、科举考试的典范教材、文人士子必备的自觉学习教材和家庭教育的重要教材之一,教材的特征主要体现在教授如何读懂文章和应付科举考试。唐宋时期《文选》作为教材被文人士子等不同阶层大规模读、习,教材的鹄的体现为学做文章的典范作用,集中体现为大规模的模拟、改编和续编《文选》。学校、书院也把《文选》作为教写作文的教材,体现了其一定的社会实用价值。《文选》能成为教材的典范,因其“略其芜秽,集其清英”本身绽放的魅力和世人对其“切世用”教材价值的主动认同。

Following the rise of “Selected Works studies”, Selected Works gradually becomes an important textbook of teachers, a model textbook of the imperial exam, a necessary textbook for self-learning of scholars, and one of important textbooks of family education. The characteristic of textbooks mainly lies in teaching to read articles and coping with the imperial exams.
