田野调查法在民族数学研究中的运用与反思

The Application and Reflection of Fieldwork in Ethnomathematics Research

20世纪80年代以来,民族数学一直是国际数学界和数学教育界研究的一大热点,当前国际民族数学研究正倾向于从理论研究转向实证研究,起源于文化人类学的田野调查法是其中最主要的研究方法.民族数学研究在我国兴起的时间不长,不少学者对民族数学田野调查还存在一定的误区与疑惑,厘清田野调查法的相关问题显得尤为必要.对田野调查法在民族数学研究中的运用进行分析与反思,揭示了田野调查法对民族数学研究的重要意义.同时,从运用过程中需要注意的问题着手,对民族数学研究如何开展田野调查加以阐述,并指出田野调查法在民族数学研究中运用的局限性.

Since 1980s, ethnomathematics has always been a hotspot of international mathematics and mathematics education. Currently, international ethnomathematics research is inclined to shift from theoretical research to empirical research. Fieldwork which originates in cultural anthropology is its main research method. Ethnomathematics research in our country does not rise for a long time, and a number of scholars still have some misunderstanding and doubts about the fieldwork of ethnomathematics ,so it is essential to clarify some relevant issues. Therefore, this paper analyzes and reflects the application of fieldwork in ethnomathematics research, and reveals the significance of fieldwork in ethnomathematics. Meanwhile, we elaborate how to carry out fieldwork in ethnomathematics research according to the problems needed to pay attention to in the applying process. In the end, the limitations of the application of fieldwork in ethnomathematics are pointed out.
