创新人才培养模式的击剑英语教学实践

The Practices of Teaching English for Fencing as an Innovative Way of Talent Cultivation

作为体育舞蹈的一种形式,击剑以其优雅的动作和灵活的战术,被誉为“格斗中的芭蕾”。击剑至今从未缺席过任何一届奥运会,被称为贵族运动。我国选手在世界大赛中争金夺银,尤其是2008年起,击剑运动在国内发展迅猛。作为国内体育后备人才培养的主力,体育运动学校在文化课教学方面存在鸡肋和严重瘸腿现象,击剑英语教育在国内各层次教育中更是空白。霍华德·加德纳博士的多元智能理论中运动智能在体育界倍受关注,名列第一位的听说读写等方面语言智能理应引起相关重视。笔者在校开展击剑英语选修课,创新人才培养模式的实践值得借鉴。

As a type of dance sport,fencing has been hailed as a ballet of fighting owing to its genteel movements and agile tactics.Fencing never misses any modern Olympic Games,and is also called a sport for the nobles.Chinese fencers have been winning medals at world competitions,and the fencing sport has been developing rapidly especially since 2008.As a tank of athletic talents for the state,nation-wide sports schools show chicken ribs and severe lameness in academic education while the teaching of English for fencing is still a blank at all levels of state schools.Dr.Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligence theory has received comprehensive attention and study upon his bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.The study upon his top-ranking verbal-linguistic intelligence should deserve a place in the future.This author lectured three rounds of an elective course English for fencing at school,and wishes the practices of an innovative talent cultivation be helpful in one way or another.
