摘要
Since the second half of 2018, short-term and longterm, external and internal, and cyclical and structural problems and issues have become intertwined, testing China's economic policy framework, which is designed for high-quality development. The external environment has changed profoundly, and there have also been changes in the mostly stable performance of China's economy. Will these conditions cause the principal problems of economic performance or the principal aspects of these problems to also experience change? Does the implementation and enhancement of policies geared to expanding domestic demand mean the central task of macroeconomic policies will change? And does the fine-tuning of proactive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy mean the focus of our economic work will change? The Central Economic Work Conference, held from December 19-21, 2018, gave clear answers to these questions and made arrangement for China's economic work in 2019.
