Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong Province, on May 10 established a free service hotline targeting single mothers. The hotline, 020-400-038-8888, is part of a legal-aid project initiated by the Guangzhou Legal Aid Foundation. The hotline is the first of its kind in the country. Organizers told media the hotline's service team, composed of lawyers and psychologists, would ofler, around the clock, psychological counseling and legal assistance to single mothers.
