经典文学是人类历史文化的有形反应,是具有权威性与典范性的传世著作,是一个时代最具代表性的文化勋章。阅读英语经典文学是为了让学生充分了解英语文化背景,从而在潜移默化中汲取经典文学中的精髓,起到比阅读普通教材更佳的学习效果。现主要对英语经典文学融入英语阅读教学的现实价值与实践途径进行简要分析。

Classical literature is a tangible reaction of human history and culture. It is an authoritative and exemplary work of the world. It is the most representative cultural medal of an era. Reading English classic literature is to let students fully understand the English cultural background, so as to absorb the essence of classic literature in subtle ways, it is better than reading ordinary textbooks. This paper mainly analyzes the practical value and practical ways of integrating English classic literature into English reading teaching.
