Environmental Protection and Sustainabilty in Fashion Design

自然系统和人和谐共处,高效的自然能源使用,使整个环境平衡。然而环境的负担是有限的。因此,要创建一个持续性的发展环境,社会就要抛弃过去大规模消费,大规模浪费的模式。在时尚界就可以做“回收”这样的工作,回收使用过的布料,处置丢弃的布料,不去焚烧,就可实现可持续性的时尚业。同时,需要技术,这些技术能够重新再生产,“还原”这些原料,我们必须考虑到这些材质给我们环境带来最小化的影响。

Harmony between man and nature, and the effective use of natural resources are what keep the balance in our eco-system. Yet there is a limited capacity of our eco environment. Therefore, a sustainable development environment is needed. To this end, we should abandon the out-dated modes such as massive consumption and excessive wasting. We can do this in the fashion field: recycling clothing, properly dealing with them instead of burning them. By doing this, we can build a sustainable fashion industry. Meanwhile, we need advanced technologies to help us re-produce these raw materials. We need to minimize the impacts on the environment brought by these materials.
