Zhang Zhihao’s poetry has a strong lyricism, mostly through warm memories and tranquil descriptions,reviewing the purity of nature and the beauty of the countryside, and a few of them express their reflection and criticism on urban life in a realistic way. Through pursuing tradition in hometown, seeking sustenances in families andexploring humanity in daily life, which embodies poet’s personal feelings, cultural choices, value pursuits and expresses hisreflection and contemplation on the current social reality.
