摘要
本研究以英语专业学生为调查对象,采用实证方法探究了学生在第二外语学习过程中的负动机影响因素。研究结果表明,造成英语专业学生第二外语学习动机衰退的因素既包括学习者内部因素,也包括外部因素。其中最主要的两个影响因素是教师教学因素和学习兴趣因素。文章针对调查结果提出了解决性的建议,为高校英语教师规避第二外语学习负动机提供了借鉴。
The study explores the factors leading to demotivation in English majors’ second foreign language learning process by employing empirical research method.The results reveal that demotivation in English majors’ second foreign learning are due to both internal factors such as students’ low self-efficacy,the lack of learning interest,deficiency of learning strategies and external factors like teachers’ teaching method and teaching environment.This paper puts forward some suggestions and references for college teachers to avoid demotivation in English majors’ second foreign language learning.
