摘要
思辨作为一种思考方式,可以让人们对自己的思维方式进行剖析和反思,进而优化自身的思维,提高学习效率。思辨能力的培养越来越受到重视,已成为高等教育的重要任务之一。大学英语专业的培养中,思辨能力的训练相对缺少。鉴于此,本研究针对大学英语专业学生,在Paul和Elder提出的思维元素和评价标准基础上,提出通过SEDW写作训练提高英语专业学生的思辨能力。通过一学期写作训练成绩、多次问卷调查、个案访谈等方式,笔者了解到SEDW写作训练的确能够在一定程度上提高英语专业学生的思辨能力。
As a thinking mode,critical thinking can enable people to analyze and reflect on their own way of thinking,optimize their own thinking and improve learning efficiency.Increasing importance has been attached to critical thinking in higher education,yet English major students still see very few training programs in this aspect.This project,based on the thinking elements and evaluation standards proposed by Richard Paul and Linda Elder,aims to apply SEDW writing model to train and develop the critical thinking abilities on the part of English majors.The writing results,together with the surveys and interviews,reveal that SEDW writing can,in a sense,improve the critical thinking of English major students.
