非英语专业本科生四、六级成绩下滑与学习动机变化相关性调查研究——以西北农林科技大学为例

摘要 大学英语四、六级成绩与本科生学位脱钩后,非英语专业本科生四、六级通过率出现下滑趋势。为探讨是否因为脱钩政策导致这一趋势,本研究根据Gardener和Lambert的动机理论,以西北农林科技大学各学院人数比为参考,采取分层随机抽样方法选取调查对象进行问卷调查。问卷在高一虹动机测量表基础上,根据研究需要略作改动并进行效度和信度检验而制定。调查显示学生工具型动机强于融入型动机,政策对学生的英语学习产生了负反拨效应。在教学中应重视外在条件对学生学习的影响,刺激工具型动机提高学生的学习效果;同时,培养学生对英语学习的兴趣,提高学生的融入型动机。 After the decoupling of CET-4 and CET-6 scores from undergraduate degrees, the passing rates of CET-4 and CET-6 for non-English majors have declined. In order to explore whether this trend is caused by decoupling policy, this study,based on Gardener’s and Lambert’s theory of motivation, takes the number ratio of colleges in Northwest A&F University as a reference, adopts stratified random sampling method to select survey subjects for questionnaire survey. On the basis of Gao Yihong Motivation Scale, the questionnaire was revised slightly according to the research needs, and validity and reliability were tested. The survey shows that students’ instrumental motivation is stronger than their integrative motivation, and the policy has a negative backwash effect on students’ English learning. In teaching, we should attach importance to the influence of external conditions on students’ learning, stimulate instrumental motivation to improve students’ learning effect, at the same time, cultivate students’ interest in English learning and improve students’ integration motivation.
