语言与生物:基于语言生态学的考察

Comparative studies of the similarities and differences of language and other living beings

语言生态学(Ecology of Language)是一门新兴的交叉学科’20世纪70年代初由美国语言学家豪根(Haugen)首次提出。语言生态学是国际语言社会学界普遍使用的研究方法,但这种方法在藏语以及西藏语言学界的运用还刚刚起步,有待于进一步探索和研究。鉴于此,文章通过比较,着重讨论了语言与生物的异同,指出了二者的三个共同点和六个不同点。

Ecology of Language is a new discipline in which the theory and method of ecology is used in language studies. The author strongly believes that it is essential to discuss the unsolved problems concerning the Ecology of Language prior to using it in the Tibetan linguistic research. Therefore, this article discusses three similarities of language and other living beings as well as six differences of language and other living beings.
