1918至1919年的一个错误理论开启了一个伟大征程,导致描述自然界三种基本力的理论框架,以及很多重要的物理学和数学成就。为这一征程做出贡献的很多物理学家与数学家获得诺贝尔物理学奖或者菲尔兹奖和阿贝尔奖。
A wrong theory proposed in the period of 1918 to 1919 started a great adventure, leading to a theoretical framework describing three fundamental forces in the nature, and many other achievements in physics and mathematics. Many physicists and mathematicians who contributed to this great endeavor received Nobel Prizes, Fields Medals or Abel Medals.
