Design and application of ESFR sprinkler system in petrochemical storage

自动喷水灭火系统是当今应用最普遍、最为有效的自动灭火设施之一。采用早期抑制快速响应(ESFR)喷头的自动喷水系统在石油化工企业高堆垛仓库和高架库房工程中被广泛应用。通过分析现有国内、国际规范,结合工程应用实例,针对ESFR喷头在设计中可能遇到的一些问题展开探讨,并提出方案对策。

Automatic sprinkler system is one of the most familiar and efficient automatic fire fighting systems in the world. Early suppression fast response(ESFR) sprinkler system is widely used in petrochemical palletized storage and high rack storage. Through analyzing current domestic and international standards, combining with some application examples, possible problems encountered while designing ESFR nozzles were discussed, and then, countermeasures were proposed.
