This paper mainly discusses the related construction problems of deep foundation pit construction and geotechnical engineering investigation. Firstly, the importance of geotechnical engineering investigation is expounded, and its role in deep foundation pit construction is clarified. Then, the outstanding problems in geotechnical engineering investigation in deep foundation pit engineering in China are discussed.Finally, the classification of common deep foundation pit protection structure and the deep foundation pit support system and the design of the deep foundation pit are analyzed, to provide a useful direction for the development of deep foundation pit engineering in China.
