As an ideological trend of society and culture, postmodernism has a wide and far-reaching influence on many fields and subjects, including translation studies. With regard to translation studies, postmodernism has an impact on the theoretical researches of deconstructionism, postcolonialism, feminist and the outlook of Cultural School. Meanwhile, postmodernism can provide completely new horizons and paths for translation studies.
