Development of Beekeeping Business and Revitalization of Rural Economy

针对西藏养蜂业效率低下、西藏丰富的蜜源植物和无污染的自然生态环境没有得到充分利用、油菜等虫媒作物授粉不足、没有通过养蜂而带来实惠等现象,自2004年起首次引进意大利蜜蜂,结合西藏特殊的自然生态环境,在高海拔地区开展了意大利蜜蜂生物学、育王技术、越冬技术,养殖管理技术等研究。经过多年的研究,填补了在海拔4000 m左右地区蜜蜂养殖技术空白,为西藏农牧民增产增收提供新的支柱产业。

For the first time since 2004,Italian bees have been introduced,combined with the special natural ecological environment of Tibet,in view of the inefficiency of Tibetan beekeepers,the lack of full utilization of the abundant honey plants and pollution-free natural ecological environment in Tibet,the insufficient pollination of insect-borne crops such as rapeseed,and the lack of benefits through bee-keeping. In the high altitude area,Italian bee biology,King breeding technology,wintering technology,breeding management technology and other research were carried out. After years of research,it fills the gap of bee culture technology in the area of about 4000 meters above sea level,and provides a new pillar industry for Tibetan farmers and herdsmen income.
