论《飘》三译本中译者主体性的体现——从女性主义翻译理论出发

Subjectivity in the Three Versions of Gone with the Wind——From the Feminism Translation Theory

从女性主义翻译理论出发,分析《飘》的三个译本中译者主体性的各自体现。发现:男译者的确流露出较明显的男性意识,对女性较严厉苛刻,甚至有轻视之嫌;男女合译本在这方面略偏中性;女译者对女主人公明显有维护,而对男主人公则毫不客气,笔下无情。男女译者对性别认知有差别,所以翻译时发挥了不同的主观能动性、受动性、体现了不同的为我性等主体性特征。

This study adopted feminism translation theory to analyze the subjectivity in the three versions of Gone with the Wind . Study result was like this: Basically, male translators did perform a little male chauvinism with male consciousness,be harsher on women and even despise them, the version by female and male is neutral, and the one by female translator maintains the heroin’s dignity more or less. But to the hero was bluntly, the pen was ruthless.There exists the difference on the gender’s cognition, so the translators played the different roles of subjectivity like subjective initiative, passivity and for-me character during their translating process.
