摘要
英语视频,情境自然、真实地道,内容、形式丰富,展现大千世界多元文化和异域特色,在大学英语视听说教学中具有显著的优势。文章从情境认知、语言输入假设和语言输出假设三大理论和皖西学院16级非艺体本科生的教学实践两方面分析研究《新视野大学英语视听说教程(第三版)》中英语视频在学生中的反馈及其教学效果,探讨英语视频的有效运用方法,并给《新视野大学英语视听说教程(第三版)》的完善和改进提出一些建议。
English videos have the features of natural situation, authentic information, rich contents and forms. They can display multiculture and exotic features of the world. In the teaching of college English viewing listening and speaking, English videos enjoy a significant advantage. From the aspects of three hypotheses, Situational Cognition, the Input Hypothesis and the Output Hypothesis, and the teaching practice of the 16th students in West Anhui University, this paper analyzes the feedbacks of the students in West Anhui University on the English videos and its related teaching effect, explores the effective way of using English videos, and provides some suggestion for the book's improvement.
