From the perspective of electric vehicle(EV)aggregator operators, the response capability with multiple time scales of electric vehicle virtual power plant(EVPP)participating in the market optimal dispatch is evaluated.Firstly, considering the response state of the state of charge(SOC)and charging-discharging state of EVs,a single EV response capability model for single and continuous time points is established.Based on this model, the EVPP response capability evaluation model with multiple time scales is proposed including the day-ahead and the intra-day response capability. The day-ahead response capability of EVPP is evaluated by prediction data of EVs state, and an EVPP control strategy which combines the response time margin and the SOC margin index is used to modify the evaluation results of the response capability in order to track the target of the system dispatch effectively. Finally, taking the EV aggregator with three different types of transportation as an example, the EVPP response capability evaluation model with multiple time scales and the effectiveness of the dispatch and control strategy are verified.
