中国与俄罗斯接近是当前国际关系体系的主要特点之一。中俄两国均实行异于西方的独立外交政策,互补性较强。俄罗斯拥有军事、外交等相对优势,中国则是经济强国。中亚地区并未成为个别西方专家认为的所谓"两国竞争的根源",反而成为两国合作的重要区域。上海合作组织成为中俄合作的主要平台,印度和巴基斯坦加入之后,该组织的合作更是扩大至整个印太地区。朝鲜半岛是中俄协调的重要区域。2000年以来,中俄两国不断提高军队协作水平,为建立紧密的军事合作关系做了大量技术性准备,但政治准备明显不足。

China and Russia approaching to each other is one of the main features of the current system of international relations.Both China and Russia are pursuing independent foreign policies different from the West and complementary to each other,as Russia has a comparative advantage in military and diplomacy,while China is an economic giant.Central Asia has not become the"source of competition between the two countries"as predicted by some Western specialists,but become an important region where China and Russia cooperate well with each other.The Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)has become a major platform for China-Russia cooperation,which has extended to the Indo-Pacific after India and Pakistan were admitted into the SCO.The Korean Peninsula is a major region where China and Russia have coordinated with each other.Since 2000,China and Russia have constantly raised the level of their military coordination,and made much technical preparation for further military cooperation,but political preparation remains inadequate.
